Furthermore, a regular health checkup and the preventive medicine of lifestyle-related disease are offered as a national policy. Thus, Japan is promoting to archive the best of healthy longevity society ahead of the world and expand Japan-style medical services with medical devices, education and medical and insurance systems as a package.
MEJ became a member of the Medical Globalization Task Force in the Government and serves the secretariat function on the private sector. MEJ is promoting the development of international cases, mutual understanding of medical services of Japan and partner countries, and the improvement of the medical level of partner countries in collaboration with medical institutions, medical device and drag companies, and financial and insurance companies. Partner countries mean emerging countries in medical services. As economic growth proceeds in these countries, medical services become more important and the necessity to introduce an advanced medical system will increase. Therefore, MEJ has offered support for patients of partner countries to receive advanced less-invasive treatments in Japanese medical institutions and widely recognize the outstanding features of Japan’s medical services. Furthermore, the international projects to establish Japan-style medicine institutes/centers in partner countries have been started the investigation.
Along with asking you to look forward to the future actions and efforts of MEJ, your continued understanding and support would be appreciated.
