Visa for Medical Stay

In January 2011, the Visa for Medical Stay was created for patients and others traveling from overseas (including companions) for acts instructed by a hospital or clinic.

Outline of the Visa for Medical Stay

• Stay of up to six months permitted if necessary
• Multiple visas may be issued if necessary
• Valid for up to three years if necessary
• Companions permitted if necessary (regardless of the family relationship to the patient)
