* Not in Japan.

Description of the treatment

Carried out a preliminary investigation prior to any trip to Japan as to whether proton therapy would be possible and what other treatment methods were possible.

What brought you to Japan for treatment/examination?

I had already undergone all the treatments that were available in China. So I contacted MEJ, wanting to know whether proton therapy, which is not available in China, was possible, as well as if there were any alternative treatment methods.

What is your opinion of the treatment administered in Japan?

I was given explanations through MEJ regarding four proton therapy facilities, and the opinion of an MEJ consultant physician. Due to the high degree of metastasis, proton therapy was not considered suitable, but the consultant physician provided very thorough opinions, including about alternative treatment methods, for which I am very grateful.
